Additionally, bring its small business loan servicing in-house to benefit from fees and sale income. The number of employees impacted is unknown.

According to Dana Stonestreet, chairman, president, and chief executive officer, “These strategic initiatives, along with the continued maturity of our diversified lines of business, will move us forward in achieving higher profitability and creating additional shareholder value in the near term.

The bank continues to capitalize on the ongoing digital transformation model alongside a more traditional bricks-and-mortar banking model.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Southern Auto Finance Company, a lender specializin in auto financing for first-time buyers, people who want to rebuild their credit, and those with hard to verify income, has announced the closure of its Orlando, Florida loan servicing center. The closure will impact 48 employees who will be laid off between August 16, 2021, and November 30, 2021.

Loan servicng operations will move to the company's headquarters.

According to a company spokesperson, "The move will allow us to bring loan servicing and origination under one roof."

Santa Rosa, California-based Northern California Medical Associates, a large independent physician-owned multi-specialty medical group, has announced the closure of its Santa Rosa, California offices. The May 1, 2021, closure will impact 151 employees, including physicians and support staff.

The decision driving the closure was the circumstances surrounding the Glass wildfire incident and its subsequent impact on the practice, both financial and operational, including closures due to poor air quality.

According to a practice spokesperson, "We regret to inform you that three years of natural disaster and corporate financial decline will force Northern California Medical Associates to cease doing clinical business. This closing will involve cessation of all operations and termination of all employees at the site, with the exception of those continuing on in administration with closure duties."

The company's other locations in Fountain Grove and Petaluma have been periodically closed for what the company describes as "technical difficulties."
