Miami, Florida-based Fusion Logistics, a transportation, warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment vendor, has announced that it has voluntarily exited Amazon's delivery program and laid off 303 employees, including 222 employees located in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area (Farmers Branch, Garland, Coppell, and Fort Worth) and 81 employees in Houston, Texas.
A company spokesperson cited "unforeseeable business circumstances, including an unexpectedly large increase in insurance premiums and a declined company request for additional revenue to cover losses."
Like many companies with variable staffing, the company used a third-party business process outsourcer to manage hr, payroll, and insurance.

Are you now wondering, Am I Next?
