Palo Alto, California-based Navan, an online travel management, corporate card, and expense management company, has announced a restructuring and a 5% reduction in its workforce.
Approximately 145 employees are impacted by the restructuring.
According to a company spokesperson, “Navan has recorded strong growth over the past three years despite the challenges affecting our industry. We are refocusing efforts to move faster toward profitability as we enter the next phase of the company. As such, we have made the difficult decision to reduce the size of our global workforce by 5% to increase operational efficiencies as we continue to reinvent travel and expense through innovation.”
Change is coming. There will always be a tomorrow, no matter how much you may try to ignore it. There are no guarantees in life or promises for a bright future. We see good people being laid off through no fault of their own. Just because something bad hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. No one is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow and still have a job by evening. Are you now wondering, Am I Next?
