AM I NEXT? NO LOVE AT POST CONSUMER BRANDS

Lakeville, Minnesota-based Post Consumer Brands, a consumer packaged goods food manufacturer, has announced the closure of its Lancaster, Ohio facility. Production at the Lancaster plant will be transferred to other Post Consumer Brands manufacturing sites.

The closure will impact 158 employees, with four maintenance employees remaining until the plant, which was part of the company's June 2021 acquisition of TreeHouse Foods' ready-to-eat cereal business, is sold.

According to CEO Nicolas Catoggio, “We are continuously optimizing our network so that we can best serve our customers and consumers. This facility closure enables Post Consumer Brands to continue offering a diversified portfolio of great products at a great value.”

Change is coming. There will always be a tomorrow, no matter how much you may try to ignore it. There are no guarantees in life or promises for a bright future. We see good people being laid off through no fault of their own. Just because something bad hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. No one is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow and still have a job by evening. While many employees can read the writing on the wall; why do most assume it’s targeted at someone else? Are you now wondering, Am I Next?
