Herndon, Virginia-based Triple Canopy, a contract private security company offering armed security, mission support, and risk management services to corporate and government clients, has announced a reduction in force in its Indiana operations.
The reduction in force will commence on September 30, 2024, and impact 123 employees statewide.
The layoffs are attributable to an expiring contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide federal protective services for government facilities located in the State of Indiana. Positions include 113 armed protective security officers, four lieutenants and two captains, as well as a training manager, training instructor, contract manager and an administrative assistant.
